What is iSelect?

iSelect is a new, locally based private health care exchange. This private exchange offers companies a greater choice of health care plans and ancillary products. It brings affordable, predictable pricing through defined contributions and overall savings to employers and employees alike.

HAP offers ten competitive plans through iSelect, including six PPO products and four HMO products. Employers will save money by giving employees control over their health care with the freedom to choose their own benefits plan.

How iSelect works

Each company works with their independent insurance agent to select a health carrier and their defined contribution levels to offer on the iSelect exchange
Employees shop at the online Custom Benefits Store and are guided to benefit plan selections
Enrollment is handled online with the selection data transmitted to HAP and other carriers prior to the program effective dates
ID cards and benefit summaries are sent to the employees by the carrier
iSelect prepares the monthly aggregated bill and sends it to the employer
